The college-age gentlemen who serve as Royal Escorts lend a Golden Age elegance and charisma to the Royal Court, accompanying the Visiting Jewels, Princesses, and Her Majesty the Diamond during the presentation. Priority for selection as an Escort is given to the sons and grandsons of WSL and ASO Board members. They may also be the guests of Visiting Jewels.
Privileges accorded to Escorts and their families include:
- Onstage presentation in white tie and tails with their Princess or Visiting Jewel
- Families receive a professional portrait of their Escort in presentation attire
- Families receive 3 tickets to the Jewel Ball
- Families receive the commemorative Jewel Ball Program
- Honored Guests at the Jewel Ball Rehearsal Dinner (Friday preceding the Jewel Ball)
