The WSL hosts major fundraising events each year to provide financial support to the Austin Symphony Orchestra and its arts education programs.
We invite you to join us for our three Jewel Ball events this September. Our Soireé is a semi-formal dance for 9th and 10th graders. The Fashion Luncheon, with its celebrity keynote speaker, is held on the Friday just before our signature event, the Jewel Ball, a Saturday evening black-tie gala.
WSL’s spring event and Austin’s premier children’s fashion show, Red Haute, takes place in February. It offers a lovely luncheon and modeling opportunities for toddlers through teens.

The Jewel Ball honors local families for their support of the Austin Symphony Orchestra with a Royal Court presentation. Fellow members of the Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras are invited to honor symphony patrons from their communities as members of the Visiting Jewel Court.

The Women’s Symphony League of Austin’s Fashion Luncheon always offers something new and exciting, an annually reimagined event as fresh and innovative as the styles it showcases. All proceeds from the Fashion Luncheon benefit the Austin Symphony Orchestra and its youth education programs, so you can support the arts in Central Texas while enjoying one of the most anticipated events on the Austin social calendar!
Soirée Dansante

Soirée Dansante is Austin’s foremost teen fundraiser benefiting the children’s education programs of the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Soireé is also the premiere party of the Jewel Ball season and is hosted by the Women’s Symphony League in honor of the season’s Belles & Beaux.
Red Haute Valentine Party and Style Show
