Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO)
Founded in 1911, the ASO is Austin’s oldest performing arts group. The ASO offers a complete season of musical and educational programming for both children and adults.
Be At The Symphony (BATS)
The Austin Symphony BATS are the young professionals group of the ASO.
Knights of the Symphony Orchestra (KSO)
Founded in 1966 by seventy Austin businessmen with the assistance of members of the Women’s Symphony League, the KSO was designed to be a fun-loving group. Despite its light-hearted attitude, the organization has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Austin Symphony during its more than 40-year history.
Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras (TASO)
TASO provides a forum for the exchange of ideas designed to promote, develop and support symphony orchestras. TASO is composed of twenty-three member organizations, each of which is a volunteer organization dedicated to the financial support of its own respective orchestra.
League of American Orchestras (LAO)
LAO leads, supports, and champions America’s orchestras and the vitality of the music they perform. It is a diverse membership of more than 2,000 organizations and individuals across North America. LAO is the only national organization dedicated solely to the orchestral experience. The League is a nexus of knowledge and innovation, advocacy, and leadership advancement.
